Monday 3 October, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
The Mirfield Libraries are housed in magnificent buildings overlooking peaceful grounds. The collection comprises over 60,000 volumes in the Community Library and over 20,000 in the College Library. On our open day there will be a tour of the library rooms, a peek at the special collections, chat with library volunteers, staff and Library Brother about our work and how the reading rooms can be accessed by readers and researchers. An opportunity to meet brethren and library volunteers while enjoying a cream tea. Plus the grounds and church will be open to explore.
Entrance to this event is £5.00, but is free to Sponsor-A-Shelf subscribers. If you would like to join us on this day, please email Barbara Clarke to book, or call 01924 483346 by 14th September.
