A study day led by The Revd Bruce Carlin, Chaplain to the College of the Resurrection:
Is Isaiah Insufferable? Do you think Jeremiah is Joyless? And do you find understanding Ezekiel Elusive?
Very much in the sprit of those basic introductory Computer manuals we used to see, this day is offered for those who want an introduction to the prophets. Nothing too scholarly (it shouldn’t be all Greek to you, and certainly no Hebrew!), so that you have some understanding of what they are about when you hear them read in church.
By the end of today we hope that you might instead …
find Isaiah Inspirational, see that Jeremiah can be Jubilant, and maybe even become Ecstatic about Ezekiel.
(Not to mention finding Jonah jolly, Amos approachable, and even be happy about Haggai!)
