In May, we were delighted to welcome the Mirfield District Guides to our site. Accompanied by our Estate Manager, Paul, the girls spent time exploring our estate and learning more about the importance of protecting and encouraging biodiversity.
Their visit formed part of their work towards the Girlguiding Biodiversity interest badge, an activity award for members in the Guides section. The badge encourages participants to explore, survey and protect the wide variety of animal and plant life found within their local environment.
It was a pleasure to support the girls as they developed their knowledge and understanding of the natural world around them, and we hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we enjoyed having them visit.
