Fr Charlie’s Profession – July 2025

Warmest congratulations to our brother Charlie who took his life vows in CR at Mass on St Benedict’s Day, 11th July.

The brethren CR were especially pleased to welcome three generations of Charlie’s family, his friends, and many friends of the Community, to pray with us that day.
And afterwards – champagne and a celebratory meal.

Fr Charlie came to CR in the first days of lockdown, having completed a curacy in Oldham, and several months living the hermit life with the late Br Harold at Shepherd’s Law, Northumberland.
He is currently the Community’s Sacristan, and in September will travel to Cape Town with Fr Nicolas, to further our links with the churches there.

Please pray for him and for the whole Community for the years to come.

We welcome you to come to CR and to share in our life. Some come regularly to talk with a brother, others spend a day or two experiencing this very different environment. Individuals and groups come on retreat and pilgrimage, share in the teaching and courses we offer and join us in worship and meals.
