We would like to thank everyone who joined us for Festival Day on Saturday 6 July. We were delighted to welcome so many friends and supporters, who travelled from near and far, to enjoy the day with us. We would like to thank our special guest Barbara Keal, who joined us with The Coat of Hopes. The Coat of Hopes is an extraordinary community-created patchwork coat made up of over 600 blanket patches. The coat is on a long term pilgrimage through the UK, and has been made by, worn and walked by more than 2000 people, for a distance of over 1000 miles, carrying their hopes in the face of climate and ecological breakdown. Many of us wore the coat, including Fr Oswin, Br Jude and Barbara (see images below). The brethren are now entering into a week-long retreat, which will be followed by a period of reflection and Chapter.
