The Monastery Chapel offers a unique and intimate setting for your wedding, the beautifully refurbished Romanesque Chapel offers seating for 110 guests to witness you tie the knot.

Venue
The Great Hall, with its high arched ceiling, combined with 20 acres of walled and private gardens make this an amazing venue for your wedding. Our separate bar area provides additional space plus a quiet area for during the evening reception. We can offer a range of areas ideal for photographs, and catering options to meet every taste, appetite, need and budget. It is truly a venue without match.
We pride ourselves on making every wedding reception special, focusing on getting every little detail right. We work with you to offer exactly what you want in every area. With no other couples on site, Mirfield Monastery is exclusive to you with a fantastic venue. Our dedicated team work hard to ensure your special day is one that you and your guests will be talking about for years to come.
And when the evening is over there’s no need for your guests to worry about getting late-night taxi home: they can stay the night on site in our Bed and Breakfast.
Packages
Our packages consist of exclusive site hire based on whether you would like a Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast, Evening Reception or a combination of all three starting at £1200. Your only additional costs then are catering. We have Food & Beverage packages to suit all budgets and are focused on working with you to create a menu unique to yourselves.
Ceremony
The wedding service is conducted by the Parish Priest from Christ the King, Battyeford. As we are a religious site, we are unable to hold Civil Ceremonies. However, you do not have to be a regular church attendee to hold a ceremony at The Monastery. And, as mentioned previously, there are wedding breakfast and evening reception only options if you choose to have your ceremony elsewhere.
Catering
We offer a comprehensive choice of styles, ranging from traditional English fare to Mediterranean, North African, Greek, Arabic or almost anything else you choose. Our traditional 3 course wedding breakfast starts at £38.00 per head based on your choice of main. However, we are flexible and have more informal options available to suit any budget.
A range of canape and arrival drinks packages are also available starting at £4.50 a head.
Evening Reception
We offer a selection of delicious themed platters to suit all tastes. Hot sandwiches, home-made pizzas and much more besides! The choice is yours, and we will ensure all your needs and wishes are met.
