A traditional poem found on many bird baths reads:
‘The kiss of the sun for pardon,
the song of the birds for mirth.
You are nearer God’s heart in a garden
than anywhere else on earth.’
There is no better way to experience this than to spend a summer’s day in the glorious grounds of the Community, which are teeming with growth at this time of year in our gardens, orchard, woodland and meadow. Come and enjoy their peace and beauty.
The day begins at 10am with a guided walk with Fr Thomas and finishes at 3pm with a short reflection.
Please bring your own lunch – hot & cold refreshments will be available.
There is no charge for this day but donations are welcome on the day.
