We invite you to join us for a day of preparation for Easter, looking at the symbolism and the significance of the different ways in which the cross has been depicted over the past 2,000 years. There will be time for quiet reflection, meditation and prayer, and the day will conclude with an Audio-Visual presentation of the Way of the Cross.
Led by The Revd Bruce Carlin
Bruce is a former parish priest who now gives occasional Study, Quiet Days and Retreats. He has published two books of meditations on the Stations of the Cross, one using the traditional incidents (Additional Curates Society, 1990) and one specifically for the Beatitude Stations (by Jane Quail) at Walsingham (Walsingham 2007) as well as Daily Prayer (DLT 2002). He has had a connection with CR for over 50 years and in retirement prepares the books & CDs for Mirfield Publications, and is also now Hon Chaplain to the College of the Resurrection.
