Mirfield Monastery Bed & Breakfast occupies an Annexe building within the grounds of the House of the Resurrection.
Ideally located just off the M62 near Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax, in the heart of the Pennines – the enviable location of Mirfield Monastery offers excellent access and great countryside. Along with the grounds and gardens, this smoke-free bed & breakfast has free breakfast and free self-parking.
All 8 en-suite rooms (6 double and 2 single) offer free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and TVs with cable channels.
Subject to availability, retreat guests may also book an en-suite room in the Annexe on a full-board basis, with meals in the Community refectory.
In addition to the B&B within the Annexe, we recently identified an opportunity to convert an underused building at the heart of the site to provide simple accommodation responding to the need for what we are calling a ‘hermitage’. It is hoped this will provide a place of silence and reflection for those who require it.
The outbuilding is on a single level and is fully accessible, with a wide doorway. The accommodation has full en-suite facilities along with a fridge, kettle and microwave. It is close enough to the monastery, church and other buildings to ensure it is a secure and welcoming environment, but isolated enough to provide the space and quiet to meet the needs of the user. The Hermitage is available for either a self-catered or full-board retreat stay.
