Throughout the year people come to Mirfield Monastery to make use of our wide variety of flexible conference and meeting spaces seating anywhere between 6 to 70 delegates.
Our New Refectory is a good venue for those wanting to meet and eat together, the Lecture Rooms and the Seminar Rooms are excellent meeting spaces – all with step-free access and tea and coffee making facilities. Our Festival Room and sitting rooms are ideal for more informal meetings, and we are able to offer small interview rooms for one-to-one discussion.
Mirfield Monastery is the ideal place for meetings, conferences, training days, and working collaboratively with colleagues. Meeting together in a neutral space, where you are going to be fed and watered, is really important. For those managing institutions or businesses getting out of the office is a good and productive way of getting work done.

Mirfield Monastery is the ideal place for meetings, conferences, training days, and working collaboratively with colleagues. Away from busy roads, in the grounds of the monastery, the environment is perfect for those who need the space and time to think.
There are social spaces too, where you can gather for a chat. And if you are staying overnight, you can always enjoy a stroll around the grounds, or a trip to the local, before retiring to the peace and quiet of your room.
The New Refectory can be set up in either a boardroom or conference style. It has a capacity of 70 people. This room can also be partitioned and provide separate meeting and eating spaces for up to 32 people.
Facilities include a digital projector & portable screen, mobile lectern, flip chart and secure WiFi.
Overlooking the orchard and rose garden the Retreat House Common Room is a quiet meeting space at the end of the Retreat House.
It has a capacity of 22 people in meeting format, and up to 36 for a reception.

The Retreat House has a small Sitting Room and Art Room for those who wish to relax or be creative.
The Festival Room within the College buildings, is ideal for more for informal meetings, with a bar tucked away in the corner which can be used in the evening by those who are resident on a conference – or you may choose to go to the friendly Local for an evening drink.

Lecture Rooms
Two lecture rooms with a capacity of 24 and 30 in a lecture-style layout. These rooms can be combined to create a space for up to 60 delegates.
Facilities include a digital projector & screen, lectern, white board, audio system and flip chart.
Seminar Rooms
Our two seminar rooms have a capacity for 12 and 16 delegates.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available for that all important drink, and the rooms have step-free access.
Facilities include flip chart, whiteboard and secure internet access.
The Great Hall serves as the College refectory during term, and at other times is available as a dining or meeting space seating up to 102 delegates.
This very fine space contains notable pieces of art, including a roundel carved by Eric Gill and given by the architect in memory of Charles Gore. There is also a carved lime wood sculpture of Adam by Guy Reid.
Chapels and Worship Spaces
The Lower Church, beneath the larger Community Church can be used by outside groups for worship and is licenced for Weddings. It can accommodate up to 110 people. The College building also houses a compact oratory chapel for private prayer and small services.
